What’s in my Fawn Design Diaper Bag

Now that Audrey is officially a toddler I have noticed some changes in the contents of my Fawn Design diaper bag. I no longer need 8 diapers, tons of burp cloths, and extra swaddle blankets every time we leave the house. The items inside of my bag have changed but I am so happy to say that the diaper bag I carry has been perfect for both an infant and now a toddler. (read my infant diaper bag post here.) Today I am sharing what’s in my Fawn Design diaper bag for my toddler.

WHAT’S IN MY FAWN DESIGN DIAPER BAG FOR MY TODDLER

I have been using the Fawn Design original backpack diaper bag for over 8 months now and I absolutely love it. First of all, how did I not know the true value of using a backpack diaper bag?! For the boys and even Audrey as an infant, I always carried a tote-style diaper bag. It worked well but it was so frustrating when I would bend down to pick up my baby and my tote would either 1. knock my kiddo over as the bag slid off my shoulder or 2. completely spill out as it fell to the ground. So darn frustrating!

After stalking this backpack diaper bag on Instagram for a couple of weeks I finally decided I absolutely had to have it. So I bought it.

Not only is the bag beautiful, but it is also obvious that this bag is made to last! The vegan leather material feels so strong and durable. The straps are comfortable yet sturdy and the hardware is really beautiful. You can check out Fawn Design Diaper Bags Here.

There are 12 pockets inside and out to help you stay organized. The inside lining of the bag can be pulled out of the bag so that you can thoroughly clean the inside. No more cheerio crumbs floating around the bottom of your bag! The bag can be worn as a backpack (my personal favorite way) or as a messenger bag. My most favorite feature is how wide the top opens. The large zip opening makes it super easy to see exactly what I need without tearing apart my entire bag.

Ok, now that I have told you all the reasons why I love this bag, let me tell you what I pack inside for my toddler.

FAWN DESIGN DIAPER BAG TODDLER ESSENTIALS

Diapers: You won’t need to have a ton of diapers with you now that your baby is a little older. I usually keep only 3 diapers in my bag and refill as needed.

Wipes: Wipes, on the other hand, you’ll still need tons of wipes. You will use them for much more than changing diapers so make sure you keep your wipes stocked!

Changing Pads: I love these changing pads so much. Even though most diaper bags come with a changing pad, I like to use these to lay down before I lay down the reusable changing pad. Having a layer between the public changing table and our reusable changing pad makes me feel a lot better.

Diaper disposal bags: I love these for dirty diapers or wet/dirty clothes.

Hand Sanitizer

Hair Elastics: I always have small hair elastics for Audrey and a few bigger ones for myself.

Extra Outfit: I still keep an extra outfit for Audrey just in case she gets super messy or if she has an extra dirty diaper. I can’t remember the last time I have had to use the extra clothes but I still like to have an outfit with me just in case!

Snacks: Check out my Toddler Snacks post here

Snack Cup: Audrey likes these cups for goldfish or cheerios. I like that they keep the snack from spilling all over the place but Audrey can still get snacks herself.

Water Cup: These are by far our favorite water cups for all of the kids. They don’t leak in my bag, the straw stays clean when closed, and Audrey can open and close it herself.

Board Books Or check out my Books for Toddlers post here for some other ideas.

Toys: I don’t keep a ton of toys with me but I have a handful of small toys that I rotate through. She doesn’t really play with these toys often but they work well in situations when we’re waiting or as a distraction if she’s getting a little whiny.

Wearing a backpack diaper bag and having my hands free makes managing three kiddos while out and about a breeze. If you haven’t switched over to a backpack diaper bag yet, try it out! I promise you’ll love it!

I love the backpack idea! I switched to a backpack diaper back when my little was 7 months and it changed everything. I can’t go back now hahaha

Cute bag! I love our backpack, but your bag looks like you could easily wipe it off to clean with a wipe on the go whereas ours you would have to put in the wash to clean it. Something I wish I had thought of!

Yes! That is one of my favorite features. I can’t believe I forgot to mention that. You can pull the entire inside out to wipe it down!

I actually never heard of Fawn as a designer bag. But I absolutely adore your bag. Sporty but also elegant.
