Today was the first day of school for our boys! Noah started Kindergarten and Connor is in third grade! I am so excited for the boys to be at the same school for the first time! And I am realllllly excited about one drop off and one pick up!!

For the first day, the parents are allowed to walk into the classroom with the Kindergarten students. I loved seeing Noah at his desk. He was all smiles all ready to learn when we left. So different from our experience with Connor starting Kindergarten.
Abe and I have made it a tradition that he takes off the first day of school each year so that we can do drop off and pick up together. After dropping off the boys, we had so much fun talking about all the things we could do with our day. If Audrey hadn’t been up basically the entire night last night, we could have really gone crazy with our free time! But, we were exhausted and settled for breakfast and a nap! Ha!
I am already looking forward to seeing the boys after school and hearing all about their first day. I know they are going to have a great year and learn and grow so much. As much as I thought I would be emotional, I am just really happy. The boys are each blessed with great teachers who will care for them and help them develop this year. I am so proud of my boys and I am ready to see all that this school year has in store for them.
