Growing up, there are two things I remember most about St. Patrick’s Day: 1. Making sure I was wearing something green on March 17th so that I didn’t get pinched at school and 2. celebrating my dad’s birthday! Yup, my Dad was born on St. Patrick’s Day 60 years ago! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD! Thanks to Pinterest, I have learned that there are so many other fun ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with kids.

CELEBRATING ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH KIDS
Step 1: Dress the part. You still have plenty of time to order some festive shirts (on super sale here) and fun hair accessories.
Step 2: Put up simple decorations. You definitely don’t have to go all out. A festive banner and fun balloons are all you need to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with kids. I also love these cute window clings or these shamrock lights.
Step 3: Do a fun craft together. Pinterest is FULL of really cute St. Patrick’s Day crafts. I have created a board on Pinterest with some fun ideas for you.
