Bath Toys for Toddlers

Bath time is a big deal in my house. Audrey has always been a big fan of the bath and my boys still ask to take a bath every single night after their shower! It has been so much fun bringing in new toys to the bath for Audrey the past several months. We have been through quite a bit of bath toys with three kids! So today I am sharing 7 of our favorite bath toys for toddlers.

A little tip before I get started- Bath time doesn’t just have to be at night before bed. If Audrey is whiney or a little restless or just having a rough day, I’ll give her a bath. I usually do this in my bathtub because it’s a little bigger so she has more room to play around. She loves her bath toys so this is almost always guaranteed to change her mood. So if your toddler is having a rough day, try a bath!

Foam Letters: These foam letters are an absolute must-have for any toddler. They are a classic and I can still remember playing with these when I was younger! Kind of random but not only are they fun for toddlers in the bath, but they also make a really great teething toy option.

Stack and Pour Buckets: These buckets are fun because they have little holes at the bottom that drain water in three different sprinkle effects. The characters on the buckets are really cute. I like that they stack together nicely for when you’re done playing with them. We haven’t brought them out of the bath yet but I know they would also be a good addition to the water table

Polar Bear: This little floating polar bear is adorable! This bath toy is half ring toss & half stacking game. Your toddler can toss the rings onto the bear’s legs or stack them on the bear’s belly. I bought this one for Audrey and she does love it but I think Noah might love it, even more, to be honest. *Update! Audrey lovessss this polar bear. It is the first thing she grabs when she gets into the bath. I am always so surprised and amazed when I see her match up the colored ring to the color on the polar bear’s paw! She’s so smart!

Fishin’ Bath toy:  This little fishing set is really cute! The fishing reel is magnetic and picks up the sea creatures that float in the bath. The reel makes fun clicking sounds when turned, giving it a more realistic feel.

Scoop Toys with Net: Super cute net with floating toys for your toddler to scoop up over and over.

Basketball Hoop: I love that this basketball hoop attaches to the faucet instead of suctioning to a wall. This is currently in my shopping cart and I am pretty sure the boys will be claiming it as theirs before I can even get it to Audrey’s bathroom.

Light up Ducks: These light up ducks are so cute and will add tons of fun to bathtime! They light up when they touch the water and they turn off when removed from the water. My boys love when we use glow sticks in the bath so I bet they would go nuts for these ducks!

Of course, you’re going to need somewhere to store all of these fun bath toys for toddlers. Here are some bath toy storage options:

Other bath time products we love:

  • This shampoo rinser is awesome. It is lightweight and gently forms to your kiddo’s head to keep the shampoo out of their eyes.
  • Bath kneeler
  • Non-slip mat
  • Hooded towel: I love that these hooded towels are larger than baby hooded towels so they will fit around your cute toddlers.

Your little girl is so adorable!! Bath toys are definitely a must for bath time. When my son was around 1 years old, he had the basketball hoop for the tub and LOVED it. But unfortunately, it didn’t stick very well so he played with other toys more. Thanks for sharing!
