Michigan Trip Recap

My mom and I spent some time in Michigan this past weekend. We had such a great time visiting my Grandma and aunts, uncles and cousins.

My Grandma has cancer and isn’t able to spend time out in Phoenix like she usually does. It has been over a year and a half since I have seen her. I miss her terribly and wish I could see her more.

We definitely got in a few rounds of left right center 🙂

Saturday morning my in-laws drove up from Ohio. My Grandma was so excited to have them over she even put lipstick on 🙂

My in-laws praying over my Grandma. So special.

Don’t leave your phone unattended. Ha!

Before we left, my mom took me on a mini-tour. We stopped by the house she grew up in!

Saying goodbye was hard. I’m not sure when I’ll see my Grandma again. It’s hard knowing that there isn’t much I can do to help since we are so far away. It was just really hard.

But, I was also really excited to get back home to my boys.

This was such a special weekend with my family. A weekend I will never forget. Thank you, Mom, for making this trip happen. I am so grateful for these memories.
