TRAVEL ESSENTIALS FOR WOMEN
In about a month Abe and I will be going on our first kid-free vacation in a really, really long time! I can’t wait! My parents are taking Abe & I and my brother and his wife to Cabo for 5 days! My parents have been going to Cabo a couple of times a year for the past few years. Ever since their first trip, they have wanted to bring my brother and I and our spouses. We are finally making it happen! I am so incredibly grateful for this trip and I know it will be filled with so many fun memories.
Obviously, before we can go on vacation, we gotta pack. But like I said, it’s been a long time since I have been on a real vacation so I had to buy a few travel necessities before we go. Today I am sharing some awesome travel essentials for women.

TRAVEL ESSENTIALS FOR WOMEN
Pill Box: These are great because they are small and slim but can still hold a lot of medication. There are 3 removable dividers in the box so you can easily pack different medications without having to bring bulky pill bottles. The dividers are high enough so the pills won’t get mixed up if the box gets tossed around in your bag. I love that this comes with two pill boxes so I can keep one with me in my purse and leave the other in my suitcase.
Portable Battery Pack: I love having a portable battery pack to charge my phone if we plan to be out for most of the day. I take way too many photos so my battery drains pretty quickly. This is lightweight and fits easily in my purse or backpack.
Portable Bluetooth Speaker: I like having a small speaker for the hotel room. I use it for playing music while we get ready or while we’re hanging out in the room.
Lighted Makeup Mirror: You never know what the lighting situation will be in the hotel so bringing a lighted mirror is helpful. This one is small and it folds up nicely.
Makeup Case: This makeup case is big enough to hold all of your makeup and is sectioned off to keep it all organized.
Hanging Toiletry Bag: I like toiletry bags that hang because there is never enough room on the counters to set out all of your things. This will keep everything organized and free up space in the bathroom of the hotel.
6 Port USB Charger: Finding a convenient outlet in a hotel room can be kind of annoying. Once you add up all the things that you need to charge and you’re likely fighting over the best outlet. This charger plugs into one outlet and can charge 6 different devices through the USB ports.
Travel Steamer: I love this steamer so much and have raved about it a ton on the blog. It is so good, super lightweight, and very easy to travel with. It is SO much easier to use than an iron. I use it at home all the time and will absolutely be bringing it with me to Cabo.
Travel Jewelry Box: I don’t bring a ton of jewelry with me but I like to have somewhere safe to place my rings when I sleep or am at the beach. I am bringing a few earrings and necklaces so this jewelry box will be perfect to keep it all organized.
Laundry Bag: Having a designated spot to put dirty clothes keeps the hotel room picked up. And it makes unpacking a ton easier. You can use this bag to store your shoes, too, to keep them from getting your clean clothes dirty.
Packing Cubes: These are so awesome for organizing your clothes and making sure everything fits in your suitcase!
If you’re traveling soon, I hope this list of travel essentials for women was helpful! If you noticed I left something off the list- let me know!
I’m not a savvy traveler and never thought of most of these. I especially like the hanging toiletry bag and jewelry box organizer. I did get a new steamer for Christmas and will try to remember to pack it if I travel this summer 🙂
Portable battery is a must! I have a big one that can charge my phone about 9 times before needing to be recharged. Great post!
Thanks for your tips! I always overpack so while packing I will have a look at your list!
Love that all the products are small and useful! Will definitely add few to my travel luggage for next week!!! Thanks and enjoy your trip to Cabo!
