A couple of summers ago I started a fun tradition of giving the boys a small summer gift basket on the last day of school to kick off summer break. I usually like to have this basket set up for them when they get home from their last day but this year I kinda dropped the ball. Anyway, what I love about this summer gift basket is the boys get so excited about a “gift” but its contents are items I need to repurchase anyway! I need to replenish their chalk and water balloons and they definitely need new bathing suits by this time. So this basket is totally practical but to them, it’s a fun gift from their super cool mom. That’s a win in my book. 🙂
