PLAYDOH FUN FOR TODDLERS
Playdoh Mega Pack: 36 cans of playdoh. Obviously this is essential. I have purchased this box of playdoh several times. It has the best mix of colors and will last you quite a long time. Pro tip- only bring out a few cans at a time. When one can dries out, bring out a few more. It’ll last longer if you do it this way.
Playdoh Cutting Tools: Rolling pins, zig-zag cutting roller, and more. This set has everything you need to smooth out and cut your playdoh.
Playdoh Tools: This set has 22 pieces including the extruder machine and different extruder shapes, plastic silverware, and waffle, tomato, onion, lettuce, & bun molds.
Kitchen Creation: This cute set comes with a toy grill and fun kitchen accessories to make different pretend foods including kabobs!
Magical Oven: Make pretend foods like make-believe muffins, play pizzas, and crazy cakes. Place them in the Magical Oven and then press the lever. When the white light changes to red and the oven dings, your food is ready!
Playdoh Academy Tower: We don’t have this one yet (I just ordered it while putting this post together) but it looks really cool! “This tower-building playdough set comes with all the tools to help encourage creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and storytelling through hands-on play. The 13 different tools including shape cutters, roof stamper, and 3 flags can be used to shape a Play-Doh tower in all kinds of ways. Once the tower is built, it’s time to see what it takes to knock it down with the rumble base and catapult! The 5 double-sided challenge cards feature over 10 activities that encourage kids to experiment with building and knocking down their tower.” Sounds like so much fun, right?
Foam Mat: I LOVE THIS THING SO MUCH! Guys! I bought this mat on June 18, 2013…almost 7 years ago. And it is still basically brand new. There is absolutely ZERO wear and tear. If you have a baby or a toddler-buy one! You will get so much use out of it. We have used this when Noah and then Audrey from when they were babies all the way until….we’ll we’re still using it! And it is perfect for when we play with playdoh. It’s super easy to clean because the playdoh doesn’t stick to the mat. Get. this. mat!
Playdoh Table: If you don’t have the mat, this playdoh table is probably a good idea.
Deep Storage Bin: Keeping all of the playdoh cans and accessories in one spot is key. I like these deep storage bins with lids. Everything fits nicely. Audrey can easily push the bin to her mat and open it by herself.
Of course, playdoh isn’t just for toddlers! My boys, especially Noah, will sit at the mat and play playdoh with Audrey and enjoy it just as much as she does.
Do you have any tips for playdoh fun for toddlers? I have seen some really cool ideas on Pinterest and I want to know, what are your family’s favorite ways to play with playdoh?
