Did you know that tomorrow is National Pancake Day?! My family loves pancakes and we definitely don’t need a special day to eat them. But having a national holiday all about pancakes does make for a fun excuse to make them a little more special. Today I am showing you how you can create your own pancake bar to celebrate National Pancake Day!

PANCAKE BAR FOR NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY
ramekin | cake stand | cake stand | plates | bar stools
This pancake bar for National Pancake Day was so easy to put together and so much fun for the kids. Since this was just for my family, I used frozen buttermilk pancakes. I used small ramekins to hold a few different toppings and let the boys choose what they wanted on their pancakes.
If this was for a party or more people, you would definitely want fresh pancakes and more variety of toppings. Some toppings you could include:
- Banana slices
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Strawberry slices
- Sprinkles
- Chocolate Chips
- Whipped Cream
- Syrup
I love the idea of food bars and I think this one would be perfect for so many different events! You could do a pancake bar for hosting a family breakfast or brunch, for a birthday party, or I know my kids would LOVE IT if I made this for dinner one night!
Or- how fun would it be to set this up for breakfast with your girlfriends? Add some champagne and orange juice and you are set to enjoy your day with your girls.
There really are so many ways you can do a food bar but this pancake bar has to be one of my favorites!
Do you plan to celebrate National Pancake Day? Did you even know National Pancake Day was a thing?!
If you don’t want to put together a pancake bar, you can still celebrate by visiting IHOP for a free short stack of their original buttermilk pancakes.
