My Mother’s Day celebrations started a week early at Noah’s school. Noah and his classmates hosted the moms for Muffins with Mommy. It was a super cute event and I loved every minute of being there with my son.
First up was the photo booths.
Then we went to his classroom to complete an art project together.
After that we went to the main lobby for our muffins and lemonade.
We finished up our time together reading a book and playing with legos in his classroom.
I left him at school for a couple more hours for him to finish up his day.
After leaving the school, I met Abe at a car dealership to pick up my new car! Can you believe my husband bought me a new car for Mother’s Day?!
My car was fine. It had no major issues. It got us where we needed. But…it was small. It would not fit 3 car seats in the second row & getting back to the third row was super frustrating. Especially with 2 car seats latched in the second row. It would have worked. It would have been fine but it was extremely frustrating thinking about where everyone would sit once the baby arrived. I want to fit all 3 car seats in the second row especially because drop off & pick up at Connor’s school will be much easier if I don’t have to get all 3 kids in and out each time. So, after some research and an awesome hook up at the Nissan dealership, my husband bought me a new car!
Our Mothers Day celebrations continued on Mother’s Day- the last day of our staycation. The boys woke up and I asked them “Do you know what today is?” Connor said “Mothers Day?” I said “Yes! Is there anything you want to tell me?” Connor says “I love you so much!” And Noah says “and I want you to make me breakfast” Haha typical day with my boys.
We finished up our stay at the hotel and walked over to True Food for Mother’s Day lunch. Lunch was so delicious and as much as I wanted to stop by Frost for some gelato one more time, we were too full!
I tried really hard to get a nice picture of the boys and I but it just wasn’t happening.
Connor had a headache and Noah was fighting a cold all weekend. They were just done. So, this was the best Mother’s Day photo we could get.
After lunch we headed home to unpack and relax for the rest of the day.
I am so thankful for my sweet boys (and little girl on the way!) and handsome husband. I feel so blessed to be a mom. I’m exhausted most of the time and I worry a ton but these boys make me so happy. I thank God for blessing me with these beautiful boys and cannot wait until I am a mother of three!
A special thanks to my husband for being my partner in all of this. We really are a team and he is always by my side. Thank you for all of your help in raising these boys & for teaching them how to spoil their mom! I love you.
