I cannot believe my baby is at his last day of Preschool! Where did the last year go?!
When we started Connor in preschool 18 months ago I had no idea how much we would go through. There has been so many changes, questions, answers, laughs and tears. I have learned a little about the IEP process and Connor has shown so much growth academically, socially and physically as well!
Last week his teaches hosted an end of the year party. The kids sang a cute song, made a craft and had an ice cream sundae! I always love seeing Connor in his classroom! He seems like such a big boy sitting at the tables and using scissors and glue. Proud of you, Connor!
Eighteen months ago I had no idea how much I was going to love Connor’s teacher. She has been such a blessing to both Connor and myself. Not only is she an amazing teacher, she has been a great listener and helped guide me through the process of having a child with special needs. She has developed a special bond with Connor and for that I am so grateful! I am not sure who will miss her more; me or Connor?
Along with Connor’s awesome teacher Ms. Katie, he also had really great therapists. His OT, Ms. Kristin, Speech therapist Dr. A and her assistant Ms. Amber and teacher assistants Ms. Sue, Ms.Nicole, and Ms. Teri are all going to be missed so much! We were so blessed to have their support both in the classroom and prayerfully. I will never forget what these women have done for Connor and our family!
Wahooo!!! Summer Break! (little does he know, summer school starts next week 🙂 )
Connor’s friend Lucas’ mom and I went to high school together. When we found out our boys were going to be at the same school we agreed to carpool. I will miss seeing Lucas each day. Him and Connor have developed a friendship and really enjoy playing together. Noah even looks forward to seeing Lucas everyday!
PJ day for the last day of school!
First day compared to last day! I wish I would have measured him because it sure does look like he got a little taller this year. He also lost a bit of his “baby face”. This sweet boy is ready for Kindergarten!
