Happy Friday, friends! I have been on a big home organization kick lately and no room in our house is safe! I started with under the sink cabinets in all of the bathrooms and then I went on to the entire laundry room and the kids’ closets. It feels so good to get rid of all the things we don’t use or need anymore. And to put the things we do use in a spot that makes it easier to locate it when we need it. If you want, I can share more of my home organization progress in future blog posts. But for today, I am sharing my super easy and affordable girl’s hair accessory organization set up.

GIRL’S HAIR ACCESSORY ORGANIZATION
I keep all of Audrey’s hair accessories in the boys’ bathroom because their vanity is bigger than hers. For now, she sits on the counter while I do her hair so it’s easier (and safer) if we have a larger space for her to sit. So, the top drawer of the boys’ vanity is where I keep all of her brushes and combs, hair ties, clips, and bows.
For purchasing storage bins, I am a big fan of the Container Store. They literally have organization solutions for everything imaginable. So, of course, that’s where I went to start this organization project. The pieces I used for my girl’s hair accessory organization are:
- Two section drawer organizer: This is great for combs and brushes
- Shallow Drawer Organizers: I used 2 small rectangle organizer for her bows and 2 square organizers for hair ties.
I like these the best because they come in so many different shapes and sizes to fit any drawer and configuration you need. You can get shallow drawer organizers (2″ deep) or deep drawer organizers depending on the space you are organizing. I recommend measuring the space you’re working with to get the best fit.
Some of the most used items for doing Audrey’s hair:
- Continuous Mist Water Bottle
- Fine-tooth Comb
- Mini Wet Brush
- Mini Hair Elastics
- Clear Hair Elastics
- Pig Tail Bows
