This weekend we took the boys out to the Arizona Science Center.
We have been here as a family before but that was a couple years ago. I was pretty excited to visit again especially after all Connor has been learning about in school.
The first stop was the outside water area. (Sorry! I really should know the name of this exhibit.) The boys could have spent all day out here! I was freezing though so after 15 minutes of playing in the water we moved on.
The boys had such a fun day going through each exhibit. I think their favorite area was the All About Me exhibit. They got to learn all about the body and how it works.
This cool screen was the perfect spot to take a weekly bump shot!
Here’s the big ol bump at 12.5 weeks!
Connor and Daddy spent time in the computer lab working on coding new games!
After a couple hours, we were starving! We took a break from the Science Center and walked over to Arrogant Butcher for some lunch. We ordered some yummy carnitas nachos and crispy shrimp as appetizers.
I was too hungry by the time our food came that I totally forgot to get a picture of our entrees. But it was so yummy! Abe ordered a burger and said it was the best burger he has had in a long time! I ordered fish and chips. The batter was super crispy. Our server said everything is hand made to order and we could definitely taste that.
I think our waiter felt bad that I couldn’t enjoy a cocktail with my husband so he brought me out a “Congratulations on your pregnancy” chocolate cake! It was the yummiest chocolate cake with the most perfect whipped cream on top! All four of us took a few bites before heading back to the Science Center.
We had such a great time at the Center and knew the boys would enjoy it again and again so we decided to become members. We are already planning to go next weekend while Abe is rounding at the hospital.
On the way out, I quickly left our mark on the chalkboard wall 🙂
It was a really fun day with my family! I really encourage you to check out the Arizona Science Center. Your family will LOVE it!
