I recently came across the book subscription service called Bookroo. My boys LOVE two things- receiving mail & reading books. So this subscription service is perfect for them!
A little about Bookroo-
Bookroo is a subscription service created by 3 sisters. After signing up, they will send children’s books to your house each month. You can choose month to month or pay for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year up front for a discount. You can select board books- recommended for 0-2.5 years old or hardcover picture books- recommended for 2.5- 6 years old. The books they send are “hidden gems” rather than the classics that are most likely already in your home library, which was super exciting to me. I love finding books we haven’t already read. And want to know something really cool? If you do receive a book that you already own, all you have to do is email them a photo of you giving that book to someone else & they’ll give you $5 off your next box! So cool!
Connor came home from school sick one day last week. He was feeling pretty badly so I knew it was the perfect day for a little surprise!
It was a nice surprise to see the books come wrapped- makes it even more fun for the boys.
Overall, I was very impressed with our first box. We received two books we have never heard of before. When Charlie McButton Lost Power is the most perfect book for Connor! I love that the packaging is minimal but exciting at the same time. The boys loved opening their books. I think this will be an exciting box for the boys to look forward to each month.
Bookroo was so sweet to offer a discount code for my readers! (All 3 of you! :p) Head to their website and use code FAMILEE for 15% off your first order. Let me know if you sign up! I want to hear what you think of Bookroo.
