LAST-MINUTE EASTER BASKET IDEAS
When filling Easter baskets for my kids, I usually stick to the same few categories for each of them: games, books, swimsuits, and candy. Of course, I throw some other fun things in there as I find them if I have enough time.
GAMES AND TOYS
Kanoodle 3-D Puzzle Game: This game is so much fun. We bought it last year when we were spending much more time at home. The boys love playing with this and so do Abe and me. “Challenge your noggin with this best-selling, award-winning, brain-twisting, solo game. Kanoodle is a puzzle game that includes 12 puzzle pieces, 200 puzzle challenges, a 48-page illustrated puzzle book, and a carrying case.” This game is so addicting, in the best way, and would be a perfect toy to put in your kids’ Easter basket.
Skip Bo Jr.: This is another game we bought during the beginning of the pandemic and love so much. I remember playing the original Skip-Bo all the time growing up. It was so fun to teach my kids the junior version.
6 in 1 Card Games for Toddlers: I think this is the perfect set of card games for toddlers. Go Fish, Memory, Old maid, Crazy Eights, Slap Jack, and Matching.
My kids and I are so obsessed with the Worlds Smallest toys. There is just something so cute about teeny tiny toys, right?!
Worlds Smallest Barbie Dreamhouse
Scribble Scrubbies Set: Audrey loves these cute Scribble Scrubbies toys and they keep her entertained for quite a while. We have several of the bigger sets so a smaller pack of animals and markers is perfect. Even if your kiddos don’t have a full Scribble Scrubbie playset yet, this would still be a fun addition to their Easter baskets.
BOOKS
What Is Nintendo Book: Connor is pretty obsessed with everything Nintendo. It’s even written on his bucket list that he wants to work for Nintendo someday. So even though this book is maybe a little under his reading level, I think he will really enjoy it.
Who Was Kobe Bryant Book: Noah is really into basketball so I thought this would be a good book for him.
Count on the Easter Pups! Paw Patrol Easter Book: And Sis loves Paw Patrol so this is the book I am putting in her Easter basket.
The Magic Misfits: Connor and I started reading this book together and it is really cute! We are both really enjoying it.
